Globe Amaranth dries so beautifully that it’s nearly impossible to tell it apart from a fresh arrangement. Lasting many months, perhaps even a year or more, you will enjoy the bold colors and the crisp geometric pattern of the blooms long after the warm season has left us.
We have 3 kinds of basil: Genovese, Thai, and Cardinal. We are very excited about the Cardinal Basil, a somewhat rare variety that boasts a bold flavor with strong notes of anise. Use it anywhere you would use Thai basil. We love it! Also, it grows large, plum-colored, edible flowers that also make a beautiful arrangement.
Agastache (often called “Hyssop”) is beautiful fresh and also dries wonderfully — and quickly. Use fresh leaves to accent a salad, or use fresh or dried flowers to brew herbal tea.
